OXFORD, Miss.Ole Miss men’s basketball games continue to be picked up by television networks for the 2008-09 season, and the tournament field has been set for the Rebels’ pre-Thanksgiving trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., causing a change in a pair of home dates for Andy Kennedy’s squad.

Ole Miss will face Utah out of the Mountain West on Friday, Nov. 21, before squaring off with Conference USA’s Marshall on Sunday, Nov. 23, as part of the Glenn Wilkes Classic held on Florida’s east coast. The Rebels’ home contest with Morgan State, originally scheduled for Nov. 26, will move to Nov. 29 and will serve as the team’s third game of the tournament. The regular home game versus UCF will now move to the Nov. 26 slot.

Coming off an appearance in the NIT Final Four and playing an exciting, fast-paced style has made Ole Miss a hot commodity with television networks this season. Four more games were recently picked up by Fox Sports Net South, bringing the total to 11 TV dates in 2008-09, with several more expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

FSN South will carry the Jan. 10 game at Florida, the Jan. 24 contest at South Carolina, the Feb. 14 tilt at LSU and the Feb. 21 home game against Georgia.

It was also recently announced that the Rebels’ Dec. 18 game vs. nationally ranked Louisville at the SEC/BIG EAST Invitational in Cincinnati will occupy the primetime slot on ESPN at 8 p.m. CT.

Ole Miss will also play in front of a national TV audience in a home game against Kentucky (Jan. 27, ESPN) and a road challenge at Vanderbilt (Feb. 7, CBS). Four games are slated for regional broadcast on Raycom Sports.
