OXFORD, Miss. -- In an effort to promote environmental awareness, Ole Miss will host a "Go Green" initiative at Saturday's men's basketball game against Alabama. Tipoff is set for 3 p.m. CT at Tad Smith Coliseum.

Rebel Sports Marketing will be tossing green t-shirts into the crowd, and green reusable grocery bags will be handed out at the gate, courtesy of Regions Bank. There will also be special halftime contests that focus on the importance of recycling.

Among the "green" organizations in attendance will be Oxford Cycling Club, Bike Walk Mississippi, Oxford Pathways Commission, Oxford Curbside Recycling, Students for a Green Campus and Roots and Shoots.
