12/09/2009 University of Mississippi

OXFORD, Miss. - Tickets are on sale for the 25th-ranked Ole Miss hoops team's premier matchup with the UTEP Miners, to be held next Wednesday (Dec. 16) at the DeSoto Civic Center in Southaven, Miss. Doors open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. tipoff.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.desotociviccenter.com or www.ticketmaster.com, by phone at 1-800-745-3000 or at the DeSoto Civic Center box office. Prices are $100 for courtside seats and $16 for all other seats.

Ole Miss entered the national rankings this week at No. 25 after jumping out to a 7-1 record this season, with the only loss coming to then-No. 5 Villanova in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Chris Warren leads a high-powered, fast-paced offense with 17.5 points per game, while nearby Memphis native Terrico White is right behind him at 17.0 points per game.

UTEP is off to a 5-0 start entering this week's action. The Miners are led by a pair of Memphis natives in Randy Culpepper and Arnett Moultrie. Culpepper averages a team-high 17.2 points per game, while Moultrie posts 13.6 points and 7.0 rebounds per contest. Moultrie teamed up with Ole Miss' White on this summer's gold-medal winning U.S. team at the FIBA U19 World Championships.

The Rebels welcome McNeese State to Oxford on Saturday at 1 p.m., before Wednesday's Southaven contest.
