Pomeranz Pitches No. 18 Rebels To 7-1 Win Over LSU To Clinch Series

OXFORD, Miss. – The second largest crowd in school history cheered the Rebels on to victory on Saturday as 9,412 fans watched freshman left-hander Drew Pomeranz work a career-long 8.0 innings as he helped lead No. 18 Ole Miss (24-11, 9-5 SEC) to a 7-1 victory over LSU (21-13, 5-9 SEC).

With the win, the Rebels clinched the series win and will go for the sweep on Sunday.
