A $7.2 million renovation project for the Ole Miss Track & Field Complex has made the Rebels' facility one of the finest in the nation. The updated facility, completed in September 2016, includes a brand new track surface, infield, videoboard and throwing area adjacent to the track.

"We have, really, a renewed spirit around our track and field program," said Ole Miss Athletics Director Ross Bjork at the September 9, 2016 ribbon-cutting ceremony.

After a two-year hiatus from competing at home, Ole Miss will be back to hosting home meets for the 2016 outdoor track & field season.

The Ole Miss Track & Field Complex was originally completed in the fall of 2003 and played host to the 2004 SEC Outdoor Championships. Coupled with the neighboring Manning Center, a majestic multi-sport indoor facility renovated in 2014, Ole Miss Track & Field's training center is second to none.

The Ole Miss Track & Field Complex features prime seating for more than 1,500 spectators with a concession area.

The updated facility includes the following features:
  • Coaches offices
  • Team meeting room
  • Film room
  • Men's and women's locker rooms
  • Beynon Sports Surfaces 2000 full pour polyurethane running surface with hobart texture
  • State-of-the-art throwing area at the south end of the complex
  • Daktronics videoboard that measures 37 feet, 6 inches by 26 feet, 8 inches
