OXFORD, Miss. – Mary Kate Domino, a second year Rebelette from Yorba Linda, Calif., was selected for the 2014 E. Lynn Harris All SEC Spirit Team that was presented at the 2014 Men's Southeastern Conference Basketball Tournament in Atlanta, GA.
The team is comprised of a representative from each of the SEC schools in honor of former Arkansas cheerleader and long-time volunteer coach E. Lynn Harris. Selections to the E. Lynn Harris All-SEC Spirit Team recognize spirit members for academic success, philanthropic dedication and overall representation of their university, along with genuine school spirit.
"In addition to her commitments as a spirit squad member, Mary Kate has already acquired a great list of accomplishments during her two years here at Ole Miss," said Rebelette head coach Carley Cryer. “Along with her community service and extracurricular endeavors, she has held leadership roles in RebelTHON and the Big Event, and is also involved in the Haley Barbour Center for Manufacturing Excellence and Kappa Alpha Theta.
"Mary Kate has a genuine enthusiasm and drive to succeed at everything that she does on the court, in the classroom, and in the community. She leads by example and always represents Ole Miss and our spirit program very well. We are grateful to have Mary Kate and many others like her as a members of the Ole Miss Rebelettes."
Domino is a sophomore majoring in business administration/marketing with a minor in manufacturing engineering and has earned recognition on the Chancellor's Honor Roll.
