Carley Cryer joins the Rebels after serving as the Marketing Coordinator for Athletics at Southeastern Louisiana University. During her three-year tenure at Southeastern, she was responsible for game day coordination of recognitions, in-game promotions, and entertainment in conjunction with the band, spirit groups, and sponsor agreements. She was also responsible for developing and executing athletic promotional events, designing advertising materials, and student promotional programs.

Cryer brings more than five years of high school and collegiate coaching experience to her new position. Cryer served as the coach and sponsor of the nationally-ranked St. Thomas Aquinas Starlettes dance team in Hammond, La., with multiple showings on ESPN. The Starlettes consistently ranked in the top five at the UDA National Dance Team Championship with a 3rd place finish in small varsity hip hop and 8th place finish in small varsity jazz in 2013.

Cryer began her coaching career at Ole Miss when she served as the Rebelette coach from 2008-2010. With more than fifteen years of dance experience, she has worked with numerous teams and dancers across the South. She is a former head instructor for the Universal Dance Association and has judged and choreographed on the state and national level.

A former Rebelette and 2008 Ole Miss graduate with a bachelor's degree in business administration, Cryer is married to Ole Miss graduate and former Rebel baseball pitcher Justin Cryer.
