Larandust Coleman, MS, ATC, currently serves as assistant athletic trainer for the football team and the Ole Miss spirit squads. He assists the head football athletic trainer with evaluations, treatments, and rehabilitation of student athletes, as well as various administrative duties. Coleman also serves as the liaison between Paragon marketing group and the University of Mississippi for the Gatorade summer camps hydration program.
Prior to his current role at Ole Miss, Coleman serve as a graduate assistant athletic trainer for football from 2006-2007. In addition, he provided coverage for the track and field and cross country teams from 2005-2006. Before attending the University of Mississippi, Coleman served as a seasonal intern with the Carolina Panthers from 2004-2005.
Coleman attended the University of West Alabama from 2000-2004 where he obtained a bachelor's of science degree in athletic training. In 2004, Coleman received the Horace C. Hunt Award for the student athletic trainer of the year.
A native of Newton, MS and a graduate of Newton High school, Coleman resides in Oxford, Miss., with his goat Otis.
