Assistant Athletic Trainer

Herb Reinhard, MS, ATC, CES, joined the Ole Miss athletic training staff in August of 2017. He currently serves as an assistant athletic trainer with the Ole Miss football team.

Prior to his current role at Ole Miss, Reinhard spent the previous two years as an assistant athletic trainer with football at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York.

A 2012 graduate of Valdosta State University, Reinhard earned his bachelor’s degree in athletic training.  While attending Valdosta State, he completed a training camp internship with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the summer of 2011. He then went on to receive his master’s degree in sport and fitness management from Troy University, where he worked with the Trojan’s football team. Following his time at Troy University, he completed a year-long internship with the Washington Redskins of the National Football League.

Reinhard is a certified athletic trainer by the Board of Certification and a member of the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. He holds an additional certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a corrective exercise specialist (CES) and is also certified in dry needling for pain management and sports rehabilitation. 

A native of Valdosta, Georgia, Reinhard resides in Oxford with his wife Deanna.
