Jessica Rizzi joined the FedEx Student-Athlete Development team in June 2015 as Coordinator of Student-Athlete Development. Rizzi comes to the University of Mississippi from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where she served as a Graduate Assistant working in the Student-Athlete Support Services Office.

While at University of Missouri-Kansas City, Rizzi earned her Master of Arts in Higher Education and served as Assistant Life Skills Coordinator and Assistant Academic Advisor for Men’s and Women’s Basketball, Softball, and Track & Field. As Assistant Life Skills Coordinator, Rizzi helped oversee the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), served as the liaison for community outreach events, and developed and implemented personal and professional development events. As Assistant Academic Advisor, Rizzi provided educational support to aid student-athletes in achieving their academic, personal, and professional goals.

The Downers Grove, Illinois native additionally earned her Bachelor of Science in Child, Adult, and Family Services from Iowa State University where she was a member of the Women’s Gymnastics Team. During her time as a Cyclone, Rizzi received the honors of Dean’s list, Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, NACGC/W Scholastic All-America Honor, and the Academic All-Big 12 First Team honors.

Rizzi holds memberships in the National Association of Academic Advisors for Athletics (N4A) and the National Association of Collegiate Women Athletics Administrators (NACWAA).
