John Ross is in his 18th year at Ole Miss, including serving as the Assistant Director of Equipment Operations/IPF Services since 2005. He served as Head Equipment Manager from 1996-2004, after having served as assistant equipment manager for two years from 1994-96. Ross oversees the purchasing and receiving of equipment for all sports with Nike and operates the day-to-day services of the IPF. The Olive Branch, Miss., native received his B.B.A. degree in Marketing from Ole Miss in December 1993. While working on his degree, Ross was a student football manager for four years. Additionally, he was a member of the M-Club and served as a manager-trainer representative on the Ole Miss Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Ross is a member of the American Equipment Managers Association (AEMA). Ross is married to the former Cindy McGregor of Oxford. They have a son, John Clark (14) and a daughter, Taylor (11). Ross enjoys playing golf and tennis. |
