AT OLE MISS (2014):


OUTDOOR: Competed in the long jump (22-0.75) and pole vault (14-2.5) at the Ole Miss Open.

INDOOR: Competed in the heptathlon at the SEC Championships, placing 11th (4,098 points) ... posted season bests of 7.33 in the 60 meters, 3:37.89 in the 1,000, 8.94 in the 60 hurdles, 5-7.75 in the high jump, 15-1 in the pole vault, 21-4.25 in the long jump, 42-11.75 in the triple jump and 29-10 in the shot put.

BEFORE OLE MISS: A three-time MHSAA 6A state champion, twice in the triple jump and once in the long jump, competing for coaches Billy Lamb and Tim Ellison at Madison Central ... participated in the triple jump at the 2012 High School Indoor National Championships at the Armory ... won the 2013 6A state title in the long jump (23-0.25) as a senior, while placing third in the triple jump (46-7.5) ... named to the Clarion-Ledger All-State team ... won the 2011 and 2012 6A state titles in the triple jump ... 2011 and 2012 state runner-up in the pole vault ... led Madison Central to Class 6A team titles in 2012 and 2013 ... two-time Metro Athlete of the Week ... produced personal bests of 47-5 in the triple jump, 15-3 in the pole vault and 23-0.5 in the long jump, all of which are Madison Central school records ... also played football.

PERSONAL: Born June 13, 1994 ... son of Jim and Susan Angle ... father was a member of the Ole Miss track team in 1981.
