OUTDOOR: Competed in the long jump throughout the season ... placed 23rd at the SEC Championships (17-11) ... placed seventh at the Ole Miss Open with a season-best jump of 18-1.75.
INDOOR: Competed at four meets in the long jump and the 60 meters ... season-best jump of 17-7.5 at the Don Kirby Elite ... season-best 60 time of 8.20 at the Auburn Invitational.
BEFORE OLE MISS: A two-time state champion in the long jump while competing for coach Greg Thompson at Scotlandville Magnet High School in Baton Rouge, La. ... won the 2012 LHSAA 5A state title (18-9.5) and the 2011 LHSAA 2A state title (19-1) ... runner-up at the 2013 LHSAA 5A state meet ... three-time Louisiana Sports Writers Association All-State selection ... a three-time region champion in the long jump and region record holder at 19-3 ... high school personal bests of 19-3.75 in the long jump and 36-0 in the triple jump ... set a school record in the long jump ... competed with the Faith Track Club, making several appearances at the USATF Junior Olympics ... also participated in cheerleading, volleyball and dance at Scotlandville ...
