BEFORE OLE MISS: A four-time individual state champion at Curtis High School in University Place, Wash., coached by Sarah Burns ... captured the 2013 WIAA Class 4A state title in the 100 meters (11.96) and 200 meters (24.84), while finishing runner-up in the long jump (19-6.75) as a senior ... also claimed state titles in the 100 and 200 as a junior and runner-up in the 100 and long jump as a sophomore ... led Curtis to a team 4A state title in 2012 as a junior ... achieved school records in the 100, 200 and long jump ... ranked top 10 among all U.S. high school girls in the indoor 60 meters and long jump as a senior ... competed at the 2012 USATF Junior Olympics, placing fourth in the long jump, fourth in the 4x100-meter relay and sixth in the 100 ... two-time 60-meter runner-up at the Simplot Games ... also competed at the Brooks PR Invitational ... member of the Flying AJ's Track Club ... achieved indoor personal bests of 7.45 in the 60, 25.44 in the 200 and 19-6 in the long jump and outdoor personal bests of 11.82 in the 100, 24.55 in the 200 and 19-6.75 in the long jump.
