BEFORE OLE MISS: Indoor All-American in the weight throw ... lettered in track under coaches Ryan Palmer and Nick Discillo at Westerly High School ... competed in the hammer throw and discus at the 2012 New Balance Outdoor Nationals and in the weight throw and shot put at the 2012 New Balance Indoor Nationals ... garnered All-American honors by finishing sixth in the indoor weight throw ... achieved school records in the shot put with a throw of 58-1, hammer with a throw of 211-2 and the weight throw with a distance of 68-4 ... Rhode Island State Champion in the shot put (57-3), runner-up in the discus (personal-best 176-9) and third in the hammer (205-10) in 2012 ... named first team All-State in the shot put as a senior by the Providence Journal ... runner-up in the shot at the 2012 New England Indoor Championships ... also played football and basketball for the Bulldogs.
