Ole Miss Wins Nine Events, Sets Numerous Personal And Seasonal Bests

AT OLE MISS (2013):

OUTDOOR: Named to the SEC All-Freshman team by placing first among freshmen in the 100-meter hurdles, 13th overall, with a time of 14.36 at the SEC Championships ... also competed in the 400-meter hurdles at the SEC Championships ... posted a season-best 100-meter hurdle time of 14.18 to place fifth at the Mississippi Open ... placed third at the Mississippi Open with a season-best time of 1:01.36 in the 400-meter hurdles.

INDOOR: Competed in the 60-meter hurdles at the SEC Championships, placing 20th with a time of 8.96 ... posted a season-best 60-meter hurdle time of 8.78 at the Don Kirby Elite, ranking her top 10 in school history ... clocked a season-best 55-meter hurdle time of 8.16 at the ASU Invitational, which ranks her seventh-best in school history.

BEFORE OLE MISS: Named an All-American in the 400-meter hurdles after placing fifth (personal-best 1:00.84) at the 2012 New Balance Outdoor Nationals, while also finishing 10th in the 100-meter hurdles ... lettered all four years in track at Milford Mill Academy under coach James Simms ... captured three gold medals (60-meter hurdles, 200 meters, 4x200 meter relay) at the 2012 New Balance Indoor Nationals, running in the Emerging Elites division ... 2012 Maryland 3A state champion in the indoor 300 meters (40.31) and 4x200 meter relay (1:44.01) and state runner-up in the outdoor 400 (56.75) and 100-meter hurdles (14.30) and indoor 55-meter hurdles (8.21) ... 2011 state runner-up in the 55-meter hurdles (8.57) and 2010 state runner-up in the 300-meter hurdles (46.49) ... She was the Baltimore County 2011 Indoor Athlete of the Year ... helped Milford Mill to runner-up at the 2012 state indoor championships ... broke the school record in the 55-meter hurdles with a time of 8.03 ... honor roll student.
