OUTDOOR: USA, NCAA and SEC Pole Vault Champion ... capped off an undefeated outdoor season with his first career USA title, winning the pole vault with a season-best height of 18-10.25 at the USA Championships in Sacramento, California ... first person in school history to win a USA pole vault title ... claimed his second straight NCAA outdoor pole vault title in Eugene, Oregon, with a mark of 18-8.25 ... first Rebel to win back-to-back NCAA outdoor titles since Savante' Stringfellow (long jump in 2000-01) ... helped Ole Miss place 24th in the final team standings ... OUTDOOR: USTFCCCA Second Team All-American in the pole vault ... first Ole Miss All-American pole vaulter since Baker Vinci in 1985 ... tied for 10th place at the NCAA Championships with a mark of 17-4.5 ... top freshman finisher in the pole vault at the NCAA Championships ... became the first Rebel to ever clear 18 feet when he broke his own school record with a mark of 18-0.5 to capture second place at the SEC Championships ... BEFORE OLE MISS: Named the 2010-11 Gatorade Athlete of the Year for Mississippi high school boys' track and field ... selected as Mississippi's Boys Track and Field PopStar and Mr. Track and Field in Mississippi in 2011 ... cleared a state meet record of 16-3 to capture the Class 5A state championship meet, leading Oxford High School to a second-place finish as a team in 2011 ... also won the 2011 indoor state championship and the 2010 outdoor championship in the pole vault ... personal-best outdoor vault of 17-0 set the Mississippi high school record and ranked among the nation's top 10 high school marks in 2011 ... helped OHS to the 2009 MHSAA state championship ... competed in track and field under the direction of his father, head coach Scott Kendricks ... also lettered in cross country and soccer ... volunteered locally on behalf of youth soccer programs and participated in fundraisers for both breast cancer awareness and St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital ... honored as Most Outstanding Cadet for Oxford High's Marine Corps Junior ROTC.
