NASHVILLE, Tenn. - It was a record-breaking weekend for the Ole Miss Rebels at the Vanderbilt Indoor Invitational, highlighted by several of the best performances by any track & field athletes in the country this year.

On the weekend, Ole Miss athletes claimed five event victories, established four facility records and broke two school records in Nashville.

"Overall we had a good meet," head coach Brian O'Neal said. "We had most everyone competing in their primary events, and I thought those people performed admirably. We had a great week of practice, and I think it showed in our performances this weekend. Now we'll get back to campus, get rested and gear up for another week of work."

Sophomores Jalen Miller and Robert Domanic were brilliant in their races, clocking some of the top times in the country.

Miller won both the 60 and 200 meter races with sensational times of 6.58 and 21.26, respectively.

In four races at 60 meters this year (prelims and finals), Miller has clocked times of 6.57, 6.56, 6.60 and 6.58, all better than his best time of 6.62 last year when he won All-America honors. His 6.56 at the Gene Edmonds Invitational ranks him third in the NCAA this year.

Miller's 21.26 in the 200 is an indoor lifetime best and ranks him top 25 nationally.

Domanic won the mile to lead an incredible 1-2-3-4-5 finish for the Rebels. Domanic's personal-best time of 4:00.62 ranks him third nationally and No. 2 in school history, but the others were right there with him. Craig Engels (4:01.29) was runner-up, followed by Daniel Bulmer (4:01.49), Trevor Gilley (4:03.58) and Wesley Gallagher. They now rank fourth, fifth, sixth and eighth in school history. And on this year's NCAA list, they are No. 5, No. 6, No. 13 and No. 17.

Three Rebels ran personal bests in the 800, led by Dameon Morgan's 1:49.82 that ranks him fourth in school history. Holland Sherrer's 1:50.15 ranks him sixth in school history, while Derek Gutierrez's 1:50.75 moves him up to seventh.

Robert Semien ran a strong time of 7.93 to finish second in the 60-meter hurdle prelims, but did not run in the final as an injury precaution.

Phillip Young had a solid weekend in both the long jump and triple jump. He placed third in the long jump with an indoor personal-best 24-9 that ranks him 12th in the nation. He also placed fourth in the triple jump (51-4.5).

The Ole Miss women strung together several record-breaking performances, starting with Fabia McDonald breaking her own school record on Friday in the pentathlon. Her score of 4,057 ranks her NO. 6 in the nation this year.

Perhaps the overall star of Saturday was freshman Brooke Feldmeier running her first collegiate 800 meters. All she did was clock the No. 1 time in the NCAA and one of the best in the world so far this year with a 2:05.27. She ranks second in school history to former All-American Sofie Persson (2:04.51 in 2011).

Newcomer Britt Ummels, in just her second race in the Red and Blue, broke the school mile record in 4:49.25 to earn fourth place. She had run a 4:53.76 last week at the Auburn Invitational.

Freshman Shannon Ray and junior Khadijah Suleman ran a 7.50 and 7.51, respectively, to place fifth and sixth in the 60 meter final. They both move into the top 11 all-time at Ole Miss.

In the long jump, senior Kierra White leaped to a season-best 19-9.5 that ranks her 24th in the NCAA this year.

Freshman Lanae Newsome had a career-best day in the triple jump with a mark of 40-8.25 that puts her fifth in school history and top 40 in the nation this year.

A portion of the team competed at the Arkansas State Scarlet & Black Invitational, as well, highlighted by Kevin Conway's win the men's weight throw. His personal-best toss of 61-11.5 moved him up to fifth in the school record books.
