OXFORD, Miss. – This weekend will be an historic one for the Ole Miss track & field program.

Several events will highlight this weekend’s alumni reunion, in which all former members of the program are invited to come back to campus and enjoy seeing the updates and improvements to facilities and student-athlete support.

First will be the ribbon cutting ceremony for the renovated Ole Miss Track & Field Complex at 3 p.m. Friday, which is open to the public. Among those scheduled to speak are Chancellor Jeffrey Vitter, Athletics Director Ross Bjork, Ole Miss and Team USA Women’s Olympic Head Coach Connie Price-Smith, Rio Olympian Raven Saunders and Rio Olympics Bronze Medalist Sam Kendricks.
