Men and Women Look To Qualify For NCAA Championships
AT OLE MISS (2010-11):
2011:
OUTDOOR: Earned a fourth-place finish in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the SEC Championships with a time of 9:02.61 ... ran a time of 8:59.41 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase to finish 21st at the NCAA East Regional, but did not advance to the NCAA Championships ... season-best 8:54.45 in the event to finish second at the Drake Relays ... also finished first in the event at the SEC/Big Ten Challenge (9:06.65) and second at the Pepsi Florida Relays (9:01.08) ... personal-best 8:41.67 in the 3,000 meters at the SEC/Big Ten Challenge ... won the 5,000 meters at the Ole Miss Invitational with a season-best time of 14:51.78.
INDOOR: Ran a personal-best 14:31.29 in the 5,000 meters to finish 10th at the SEC Championships ... clocked a season-best 8:30.91 in the 3,000 meters to finish seventh at the Texas A&M Challenge, while he also placed second in the 5,000 meters there (15:06.63).
2010:
CROSS COUNTRY: Earned All-SEC second team honors after placing 14th at the SEC Championships (24:41.91 in 8K race) ... helped Ole Miss to a fifth-place result at the SEC Championships, the school's best finish since 1996 ... earned NCAA All-South Regional honors after placing 18th at the NCAA South Regional with a season-best 10K time of 30:42.23 ... competed and finished second among Rebels at every meet of the season ... season-best 8K time of 24:17.35 at the Greater Louisville Classic, finishing in 24th place ... placed seventh with a 24:55.50 8K time at the Crimson Classic ... placed third at the Arkansas Tech Twilight Run with a 4-mile time of 20:14.71 ... helped Ole Miss finish second at the Crimson Classic and the Arkansas Tech Twilight Run.
OUTDOOR: Crowned the SEC Champion in the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 8:50.08 ... also placed seventh in the 5,000 meters with a time of 14:14.23 ... qualified for the NCAA Championships in the 3,000 meter steeplechase by running a personal-best 8:42.47 (second-fastest in school history) at the NCAA East Regional, finishing in fourth place ... ran a time of 8:49.71 in the 3,000 meter steeplechase prelims of the NCAA Championships and did not advance ... won the 3,000 meter steeplechase with a time of 8:46.68 at the Drake Relays ... also claimed victories at the Alabama Relays (3,000 meter steeplechase), Florida Relays (3,000 meter steeplechase) and Ole Miss Invitational (5,000 meters).
INDOOR: Competed in the 3,000 meters at four different meets, with his best time of 8:23.99 at the SEC Championships.
