Ole Miss Baseball Announces Scrimmage Times

Rebels to Play Again Friday at 2:30 p.m., Saturday at 12:00 p.m.

Career: Earned two letters (2016, 2017) … Appeared in 18 games, making 12 starts … Posted a 4-2 record with a 4.80 ERA in 50.2 innings.

2017: Made seven appearances, including three starts … Went 1-1 with a 4.76 ERA over 17.0 innings … Held opponents to a .217 batting average … Took a no-hitter into the seventh inning versus ULM, allowing only one hit in 6.0 innings with a career-high six strikeouts (5/3) ... Tossed a scoreless inning versus UAPB (4/19) ... Made his first start of the season at Memphis, pitching 4.0 innings (3/21) ... Made his 2017 season debut against Nicholls, pitching a 1-2-3 inning and striking out two (3/14).

2016: Made 10 appearances, including nine starts on the mound … Logged 32.2 innings and posted a 3-1 record with a 4.96 ERA … Threw 4.0 innings in his Sunday start against Alabama, allowing one run on four hits (4/17) ... Earned his third straight win and threw six scoreless innings against Cincinnati, allowing just one hit and retiring the final 17 batters he faced (3/6) ... Picked up his second win in a row versus No. 2 Louisville to give the Rebels the series victory (2/28) ... Made his return to the mound after Tommy John surgery and earned the win against FIU as the Sunday starter (2/21).

2015: Named to the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll … Made his Rebel debut against William & Mary in relief, pitching a scoreless inning (2/14) … Missed the rest of the season after undergoing Tommy John surgery.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Lettered two years at Iowa Western Community College for head coach Marc Rardin as a pitcher ... Won the 2014 national championship ... Threw 75 innings as a sophomore in 2014, going 10-1 with 88 strikeouts and 16 walks.

HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year letterwinner at Fountain Valley High School where he was a pitcher and a shortstop under Coach Sanchez ... As a senior, he hit .410 ... Also lettered four years in hockey and golf ... As a hockey player, he was named All-Conference during his senior year, and All-Region as a freshman and sophomore ... As a golfer, he made the state tournament twice and was ranked seventh in the region.

PERSONAL: Son of Lori and Michael Johnson ... Born July 6, 1994 ... Has five siblings, Monika, Kendra, Shannon, Isabel and Brenden ... Mother went to Utah State where she was the only Aggie gymnast to qualify for the national championships all four years and was inducted into the Aggies' wall of fame ... Graduated in May 2016 with a bachelor's degree in General Studies.
