Opposing base runners have had trouble stealing bases with Stuart Turner
behind the plate this season, as the junior college transfer has thrown out 19-of-36 base runners on steal attempts this season. Turner started the season 7-for-7 on catching base stealers. Throwing out base runners 50 percent of the time on steal attempts leads the Southeastern Conference in efficiency among regular starting catchers entering the week.
