Recap

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy

On Marshall Henderson...

"Sometimes it's hard to tell when you're dealing with Marshall. All of his shots were pretty difficult. He was 7-for-14 in the first half. He made some hard ones and four-point plays. He's alwasy going to have difficult shots because of the way teams play him. In the second half, we had our chances. You have to make plays to beat - what will be - the No. 1 team in the nation."

On rebounding...

"We just can't keep getting out-rebounded. We ended up shooting about 45 from the floor. They almost doubled us up from a productivity standpoint. We've got to find a way to go get hard rebounds. Maybe those freshmen, when they become sophomores, can go get them. It's certainly been an issue for us from day one. We all know what the problem is. We just have to keep working on things."

On second half...

"We played a little more man in the second half. Our 1-3-1 was a little more effective for us. Jarvis (Summers) picks up two fouls around the 10-minute mark of the half. I want to play him. We tried to shade him a little bit in the zone. Billy (Donovan)'s team do a terrific job of moving the ball."

Florida Head Coach Billy Donovan

On difference in first and second half...

"I thought we did a better job, I thought it all started on the very first play of the game for us in the first half."

On offense...

"I thought overall, offensively, we made 12 threes in the game, we made 19 assists. I thought we did pretty good offensively. I thought we made good decisions. We executed. Scotty made good decisions. I thought we got good looks, we got the ball around the basket. The biggest thing was we really made some free throws that maybe were a little bit tentative, but we had some plays that were there that maybe we didn’t make in that lull. I thought our guys actually handled the changing defenses, which we talked about the last two days coming into the game. I thought our guys did a pretty good job with that."

On team...

"I think, where it relates to chemistry, guys being connected, pulling for each other, a level of unselfishness, I think it’s as good as any team I’ve had. I don’t think it’s nearly as talented as some of the teams that we’ve had. Certainly, in 2000, that group, we were 10 deep and really, really talented. 06 and 07, three guys get drafted in the top 10. Those teams were just so much more talented. We’re a good team that’s got good chemistry together."
