Recap

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy

On going to Brooklyn…
“I’m excited to see how we respond against another BCS opponent Friday night. They’re a team much like us and much like everybody this early in the season trying to find themselves. We know Georgia Tech has quality players. Brian Gregory has done a good job everywhere he’s been so it’ll be a big challenge for us and one in which I’m looking forward to seeing how we respond.”

On the first four games…
“For the most part I think we had an opportunity, if you see the minutes, to get different guys minutes. It was great tonight to get Dwight Coleby, who’s been nursing a leg injury, extended minutes to see how he can be block-to-block as it relates to activity, especially defensively. We did what we were supposed to do and got through the first four unscathed, now obviously the stakes get raised.”

On Derrick Millinghaus…
“What we’ve been trying to do is to get him more assertive on both ends. Defensively, tonight may have been his best game. He was putting pressure on the ball. We turned them over 21 times.”
