Post Game Quotes - Oregon

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy

 On the game…

“We guarded them decently at first, but they got into such a rhythm. They made big shot after big shot after big shot. The frustrating thing is defensively we were really locked in a few days ago in Manhattan, but we couldn’t score. We got in a much better rhythm offensively (tonight), but we never got key stops. You can’t let a team come in your building and shoot 59% and score 115 points and expect to win.”

On shot to tie game in regulation…

“We had a couple of options like we do every play. We were trying to run a misdirection like we did against Kansas State, but we didn’t the rub (to get Henderson open). We knew the whole team was going to run with Marshall, but Jarvis (Summers) just made a hell of a play.”

 On opening of overtime…

“Momentum was all ours. We get the jump ball, but throw it to them for a layup. Despite everything, if we could have put a little game pressure on them, maybe it isn’t quite as free and easy to make those shots.”
