Louisiana-Monroe (3-3) was led by Amos Olatayo and Tylor Ongwae with 17 and 12 points, respectively. The Warhawks out rebounded Ole Miss 45-33, including a game-high 11 rebounds from Jayon James.

Ole Miss built an 11-6 lead in the opening six minutes, highlighted by the first of Henderson's 3-pointers. Louisiana-Monroe pulled into a tie on two occasions, the final time at 25-25 on a three-point play by RJ McCray with 6:12 left in the half.

The Rebels led 37-33 at halftime, finishing on the third of Henderson's 3-point shots. Henderson had 14 first half points and added three rebounds, a steal and an assist. Olatayo and Ongwae had 11 and 10 points, respectively, for the Warhawks in the half.
