OLE MISS HOSTS BAYOU BENGALS
Ole Miss welcomes LSU to Oxford Wednesday for a mid-week SEC showdown with the Tigers. The Rebels have won four-straight against the Bayou Bengals and seven of the last eight meetings.
SEC RPI STRENGTH
Entering league play, the SEC was one of only three leagues with 10 teams in the top 100 of the RPI and one of only four leagues with five teams in the top 50.
REBELS HITTING FREEBIES
Ole Miss leads the nation hitting 79.1 percent of its free throw attempts. The Rebels hit 19-of-22 attempts (.864) against Kentucky and have hit 102 of their last 123 from the line (.846). Five Ole Miss players are shooting at least 80.0 percent from the line, including junior G Stefan Moody, who ranks second in the SEC and 15th in the nation shooting 90.0 percent (54-of-60).
OLE MISS BLASTS GAMECOCKS
Senior G Jarvis Summers led all scorers with 20 points, while junior G Stefan Moody added 16 points, all in the second half, as Ole Miss rolled over South Carolina 65-49. Defensively, the Rebels held South Carolina to a season-low 49 points and forced 15 turnovers, turning them into 17 points.
OLE MISS DROPS HEARTBREAKER TO NO. 1 CATS
Junior G Stefan Moody scored 25 points and senior G Jarvis Summers added 23 for the Rebels, who beat Kentucky 30-26 in the paint and controlled the boards for much of the game, before falling to No. 1 Kentucky 89-86 in overtime. Trailing Kentucky 12-0 and 18-5, Moody helped Ole Miss' offense regroup to mount runs of 10-0 and 7-0 to get within 23-22 before eventually taking a 30-26 lead with 7:01 left in the half. The junior guard went 4-of-5 from long range en route to 16 points in the first half. Summers added 18 in the second half and overtime.
OLE MISS IN THE RPI
Ole Miss ranks No. 59 in the latest Ratings Percentage Index rankings released by the NCAA. The Rebels are 4-3 against the RPI top 125, including wins over No. 29 Cincinnati and No. 92 Oregon. South Carolina is ranked No. 45 coming into Wednesday's game.
REBS ROLL PAST AUSTIN PEAY
Four players scored in double figures, led by senior G Jarvis Summers with 18 points, as Ole Miss rolled past Austin Peay 92-63. Summers was 6-of-12 from the floor, including 2-of-4 from 3-point range, and 4-of-4 from the free-throw line, as he finished in double figures for the third straight game. Junior G Stefan Moody was second on the team with 14 points, his team-leading 10th game in double figures this season. Sophomore C Dwight Coleby finished a career-high 12 points and tied a career high with 7 rebounds and senior G Terence Smith added 10 points, as the Ole Miss bench outscored the Austin Peay bench 39-10.
OLE MISS ROUTS SEMO
Senior G Terence Smith a scored career-high 16 points, including hitting 3 3-pointers, in his first career start as Ole Miss coasted to an 82-51 victory over Southeast Missouri. Smith had scored just 21 points all season coming into the game and was only 1-of-14 from behind the arc. Senior F M.J. Rhett added 14 as four Rebels scored in double-figures in the win.
OLE MISS OVERCOMES DEFICIT TO TAKE DOWN CCU
Senior G LaDarius White scored a career-high 26, including hitting a career-best 6 3-pointers, as Ole Miss overcame a 17-point deficit to knock off Coastal Carolina. White was an efficient 7-of-13 from the field, 6-of-8 from 3-point range and 6-of-6 from the free-throw line. It marked the first time the Rebels had overcame a deficit of 12 points or more since the 2013 SEC Championship game against Florida.
Senior G LaDarius White scored a career-high 26 points in the Rebels' win over Coastal Carolina and is averaging 12.9 ppg over his last eight games. White scored 18 points off the bench in the Rebels' win over No. 23 Creighton, including 16 in the second half to spur the Ole Miss comeback. He was a perfect 6-of-6 from the field in the half including 2-for-2 from 3, and knocked down both free throw attempts. Ole Miss trailed the Bluejays by six at the half before White spurred the Rebels' comeback with a player efficiency rating of +21.
MOODY BREAKS OUT
Junior G Stefan Moody scored 25 points, including 16 in the first half, as Ole Miss took No. 1 Kentucky to overtime. Moody knocked down 5-of-7 shots from behind the arc and 8-of-13 from the field. He scored a career-high 26 points, including 17 in the second half, as the Rebels knocked off Cincinnati to claim the Emerald Coast Classic crown. The junior college transfer was 9-of-17 (.529) from the floor and hit 3-of-7(.429) from behind the arc in the game after starting the season shooting just 28.9 percent from the floor and hitting only 3-of-21 from 3. Moody scored 22 points in the Rebels win at Oregon and added 25 points, including a career-high 6 3-pointers against Western Kentucky. Moody is averaging 17.0 ppg and has hit 31-of-64 (.484) from 3-point range over his last nine games.
REBELS VERSUS TIGERS
The series with the Tigers, which began in 1909, is the second-longest in Ole Miss basketball history. LSU leads the all-time series 117-87. The last two seasons marked the first time since 1940 the two former SEC West rivals have not played a home-and-home series in the same year. The Rebels have won seven of the last eight meetings over the Bayou Bengals, including an 84-74 overtime victory in Oxford last season. Ole Miss owns a 54-34 advantage all-time in games played in Oxford and have won four in a row in the series at home. Andy Kennedy owns an 11-5 record against LSU in his career. He is 10-5 with Ole Miss and faced the Bayou Bengals once as the Cincinnati head coach in 2005-06, earning a 75-72 victory at the Las Vegas Holiday Classic.
OLE MISS DOWNS DUCKS ON THE ROAD
Junior G Stefan Moody led Ole Miss with 22 points, including a career-best 4 3-pointers, as the Rebels picked up a road win over the Oregon Ducks 79-73. Sophomore F Sebastian Saiz added a season-high 17 points and 5 rebounds for Ole Miss, which also had three players off the bench in double figures and outscored the Ducks 35-5 off the bench. The Rebels also dominated the points in the paint outscoring Oregon 41-28. The Rebels are now 13-6 against Power-5 conference teams under head coach Andy Kennedy.
REBELS TAKE DOWN RANKED FOE
Senior G Jarvis Summers led the Rebels with 23 points, while fellow senior G LaDarius White added 18, including 16 in the second half, as Ole Miss defeated No. 23 Creighton 75-68 at the Emerald Coast Classic. Junior G Martavious Newby and senior F M.J. Rhett added nine points apiece for the Rebels. Summers was 9-of-10 at free-throw line and Newby was 4-of-4 - all in the final 20 seconds - as the Rebels finished 19-of-21 overall from the line. It marked Ole Miss' first win over a ranked opponent since knocking off No. 18 Wisconsin in the 2013 NCAA Tournament.
KENNEDY ADMINISTRATION IN NINTH YEAR
In nine seasons under Mississippi native Andy Kennedy, Ole Miss has a 181-106 record, one SEC Tournament championship, two SEC West championships, six 20-win campaigns and six postseason berths, which includes an NCAA Third Round appearance and pair of trips to the NIT Final Four. The all-time winningest coach in school history, Kennedy has averaged more than 21 wins per season in his eight full years in Oxford.

AK GETS CAREER WIN 200
With the victory over Southeast Missouri, head coach Andy Kennedy earned his 200th career victory as a head coach in his 317th career game. Kennedy is the all-time winningest coach in school history with 181 career win as the Ole Miss head coach.
OLE MISS `D' AMONG BEST IN THE LEAGUE
The Ole Miss defense is among the top units in the league ranking third in field goal percentage defense (.375) and sixth in blocked shots (4.2/game).
SCOUTING THE TIGERS
LSU is 12-3 on the season and 1-1 in the SEC after spliting a pair of games at Missouri and at home against Georiga last week. The Tigers had won eight-straight games before losing the SEC opener at Missouri. The big men combination of Jarell Martin and Jordan Mickey lead the Tigers averaging a combined 32.7 ppg and pulling down 19.2 boards a game. LSU has four players averaging double figures in scoring on the season including guard Tim Quarterman, who is averaging 23.0 ppg in the Tigers' two league games. LSU ranks second in the conference in rebounding pulling down 41.1 boards a game and are outreboudning opponents by 5.2 boards a game.
REBS PICKED SIXTH IN PRESEASON POLL
Ole Miss was projected to finish sixth in the SEC preseason media poll. Kentucky was predicted as the league champion followed by Florida, Arkansas, LSU and Georgia.
SUMMERS CLIMBS THE CAREER CHARTS
Senior G Jarvis Summers recently passed Eric Laird and Ansu Sesay for 13th on the Ole Miss all-scoring list with 1,435 career points. Summers also ranks sixth all time in 3-point FG percentage (.380) and sixth all time in assists (422). See page 7 for updated career records.
