OXFORD, Miss. – Although they will not begin competing for the Rebels until the fall, several members of the most recent signing class have arrived at Ole Miss to begin their college journey this summer.
The first of two summer sessions offered at the University of Mississippi began Wednesday.
Among the freshmen enrolled in this first summer session are 14 members of the football team’s heralded signing class that was ranked as high as No. 2 nationally (247Sports.com). Robert Nkemdiche, the nation’s consensus No. 1 prospect, is in Oxford to begin his collegiate career. Others include fellow 5-star prospects Laquon Treadwell and Laremy Tunsel and 4-star recruits Ryan Buchanan, Austin Golson, Devante Kincade, Kailo Moore and Jordan Wilkins.
Men’s basketball welcomes Estonian signee Janari Joesaar for the first summer session, while women’s basketball and volleyball each have a pair of newcomers reporting early.
Fall classes begin August 26.
Below are the 2013 newcomers who have enrolled in the first summer session. There could be additions to this list within the next week.
