Rebels Return to Football Staff

Ben Aigamaua is in his first year as the Assistant Athletics Director for Community Relations on the Ole Miss staff. He has been on staff since 2012, including his first three years as an offensive graduate assistant, assisting with the offensive line.

During his first three years in Oxford, he helped the team advance to three straight bowl games, including wins in the BBVA Compass Bowl and Music City Bowl as well as a berth in the inaugural “New Year’s Six” Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl. He helped the Rebels produce two of the top three total offense seasons in school history, including a school-record 6,153 total yards in 2013. He has served as an intern and player personnel analyst the past two seasons.

Aigamaua came to Ole Miss from Arkansas Tech, where he served as an offensive GA from July 2011 to May 2012. He served as a defensive GA at Lambuth from January 2010 to June 2011. While at Lambuth, Aigamaua also served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach.

Aigamaua played football at Lambuth from 2006-09 where he was the starting defensive tackle all four years and served as a team captain from 2007-09. He also earned All Mid-South Conference honors in 2006 and 2007.

Aigamaua earned his bachelor’s degree from Lambuth in sports management with a minor in business management in May 2010. He earned a master’s degree in integrated marketing communications from Ole Miss in May 2015.

He has spent time volunteering at numerous football camps and is a member of the American Football Coaches Association and the Polynesians Coaches Association.

Aigamaua and his wife, Kendra, have a daughter, Lily.
