Former Rebel Bryan Brown enters his first season as defensive graduate assistant coach for the Ole Miss football staff in 2011. He spent the 2010 season as an administrative intern for the Rebels.

Prior to his return to Oxford, Brown spent 2009 as a graduate assistant at Delta State, where he assisted with the cornerbacks. That position came after working in player development for the Rutgers football program in 2008.

A native of Corinth, Miss., Brown was a four-year letterwinner for the Red and Blue, 2003-06. The defensive back saw action in 46 career games totaling 70 tackles, and he returned a interception for a touchdown as a sophomore in the 2004 Tennessee Game. He also returned 11 kickoffs and six punts.

Brown earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from Ole Miss in 2006.

He was a First team All-State pick at Corinth High School, where he compiled 9,830 yards and was responsible for 100 TDs during his prep career.

Brown and his wife Courtney, a West Point native, were married on May 29, 2010.
