SERIES INFORMATION
• Today’s meeting was the first between Ole Miss and Pitt ...
• This was Ole Miss’ first appearance in the seven-year-old BBVA Compass Bowl.

GENERAL NOTES
• Ole Miss claimed its 22nd bowl victory, which is tied with Auburn and LSU for 11th-most among NCAA schools all-time ... The Rebels’ all-time bowl record is 22-12 ... Their
34 all-time bowl appearances are tied for 19th among NCAA schools.
• Ole Miss has now won nine of its last 10 bowl games, including each of the last five.
• Today’s attendance was 59,135, a BBVA Compass Bowl record.
• The Rebels finish the season at 7-6, their most wins since a nine-win campaign in 2009.
• Sophomore QB Bo Wallace was named the 2013 BBVA Compass Bowl MVP.
• Ole Miss set a BBVA Compass Bowl record for points in a game with 38 ... The Rebels also set the bowl record for most first downs (23).
• The Rebels tied the BBVA Compass Bowl record for points in a half with 24 in the first half.
• The Rebels now own an all-time record of 628-492-35 (.559 winning percentage).

OFFENSIVE NOTES
• Sophomore QB Bo Wallace (22-of-32 for 151 yards, 3 touchdowns) moved up to second on the Ole Miss single-season total yards list with 3,384, third on the passing
yards list with 2,994 and fourth on the passing touchdowns list with 22.
• Sophomore WR Donte Moncrief caught six passes for 31 yards, moving him up to second on the school’s single-season list with 979 receiving yards.
• Ole Miss tied its team bowl record for most passing touchdowns (3), and Wallace tied the individual player bowl record, as well.
• Junior WR Ja-Mes Logan caught his first touchdown pass of the year and third of his career with a 14-yard grab in the first quarter.
• Senior ATH Randall Mackey made his first career touchdown catch with a 27-yarder in the first quarter.
• Sophomore WR Vince Sanders caught his fourth touchown pass of the year with an 18-yarder in the second quarter.
• Junior QB Barry Brunetti scored on a 1-yard QB sneak in the third quarter, his second rushing TD of the season.
• Freshmen tailbacks I’Tavius Mathers and Jaylen Walton both rushed for career highs in the contest - Mathers with 96 and Walton with 56.
• Mathers ran for a 62-yard touchdown on his first carry of the game midway through the fourth quarter ... It was his first career score.

DEFENSIVE NOTES
• The Rebels, who entered the bowl game ranked top 15 nationally in sacks and tackles for loss, had four sacks and 11 TFLs against Pitt.
• Junior MLB Mike Marry led the Rebels with seven tackles, including four TFLs, and forced a fumble.
• Sophomore CB Senquez Golson snagged his third interception of the season, all in the last three games ... It was Pitt QB Tino Sunseri’s third pick thrown this year.
• Marry sacked Sunseri and forced a fumble that was recovered by redshirt-freshman OLB Denzel Nkemdiche ... It was Marry’s first fumble forced this year and Nkemdiche’s
first recovery.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• Senior K Bryson Rose made five PATs and a field goal for eight points ... He finishes the season with 103 points (tied for second in school history) and his Rebel career
wth 243 points (fourth in school history).
• Freshman KR Jaylen Walton had two returns for 83 yards and finishes the season with 643 yards, fourth-best on the school’s single-season list.
