• Ole Miss improved to 88-26-5 all-time in season openers and have won 15 of the last 18 ... The Rebels won their sixth straight season opener on the road.
• The Rebels are now 31-46-3 all-time in SEC openers and snapped a nine-game losing skid in SEC openers.
• The Rebels now own an all-time record of 629-492-35 (.559 winning percentage).
• Ole Miss snapped Vanderbilt's seven-game winning streak, which was the longest active streak among SEC teams.

OFFENSIVE NOTES
• Senior QB Barry Brunetti scored the Rebels' first two touchdowns of the year with a first quarter 1-yard run on his first play of the season and a third quarter 3-yard
run ... He had three rushing TDs all of last year.
• Junior QB Bo Wallace tied a career high with 31 completions on 47 attempts for 283 yards ... He posted career highs in completions (31), attempts (49) and yards
(403) last year against Vanderbilt.
• Senior RB Jeff Scott posted his eighth career 100-yard game with 138 yards on 12 carries, including a sensational 75-yard sprint for the winning touchdown with 1:07
left in the game ... Scott tied his career with the 138 yards (at Fresno State - 10/1/11).
• The first four Ole Miss touchdowns were all on goalline QB runs (two by Brunetti, two by Wallace).
• Freshman WR Laquon Treadwell showed why he was the nation's top-rated high school receiver last year with a college debut of nine catches for 82 yards, the most
catches by an Ole Miss Rebel since Mike Espy had nine against Auburn in 2005 ... Treadwell also caught a 2-point conversion from Wallace in the third quarter.
• Freshman TE Evan Engram had a strong college debut with five catches for 61 yards.
• Senior WR Jordan Holder caught his first career passes with three catches for 20 yards.

DEFENSIVE NOTES
• Freshman DB Tony Conner intercepted a pass on his first career defensive play as a Rebel in the first quarter.
• Senior DE/LB D.T. Shackelford made his return from a two-year absence (knee injuries) and had three total tackles (two solo).
• Junior FS Cody Prewitt led Ole Miss with eight tackles (seven solo) and sealed the win with an interception on Vanderbilt's drive in the final seconds of the game ... It
was Prewitt's fourth career INT.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• Senior K Andrew Ritter converted his first career field-goal attempt with a 30-yarder in the first quarter, which was the first points of the season for Ole Miss.
• Ole Miss gained a first down off a fake punt when freshman DE Robert Nkemdiche took a direct snap for an 11-yard gain in the second quarter ... It was the first Ole
Miss fake punt for a first down since 2009 (vs. Mississippi State), and it was Nkemdiche's first career rush attempt.
