• This game marked the kickoff of the 118th season of football at Ole Miss and the first under head coach Hugh Freeze. The Rebels now boast an all-time record of 622-486-35 (.559 winning percentage).
• The Rebels are now 87-26-5 all-time in season openers (.759 winning percentage) and have taken 14 of the last 17.
• The Rebels are now 6-1 against Division I FCS opponents since the NCAA adopted its current format in 2007.
• Ole Miss is now 39-9 in its last 48 non-conference games in Oxford and has won 12 of the last 15.

OFFENSIVE NOTES
• Ole Miss’ 49 points were the most scored in a game since putting 55 on the board against Fresno State in 2010.
• The Rebels’ 565 total offensive yards were the most since Fresno State in 2010 (578) and their 330 passing yards were the most since Arkansas in 2009 (332).
• Sophomore QB Bo Wallace made his Rebel debut as the starting signal caller and passed for 264 yards on 20-of-24 attempts with two TDs and an interception. He also was the Rebels’ leading rusher with 82 yards on 13 carries and a TD on the ground.
• Junior QB Barry Brunetti recorded his first two touchdowns as a Rebel with an 11-yard pass to Jamal Mosley and an 11-yard run of his own, both in the fourth quarter.
• Sophomore WR Donte Moncrief recorded his first career game with 100 receiving yards, catching eight passes for 104 yards and a TD.
• Junior WR Philander Moore caught his first touchdown as a Rebel on a 25-yard reception from Bo Wallace in the fourth quarter.
• Freshman RB Jaylen Walton ran in a 10-yard touchdown on his first career touch in the first quarter.
• Senior TE Jamal Mosley posted career highs with four catches and 79 receiving yards and caught the second touchdown of his career with an 11-yard reception from Barry Brunetti in the fourth quarter.
• Junior WR Korvic Neat posted career highs with six catches for 75 yards.

DEFENSIVE NOTES
• Redshirt freshman LB Denzel Nkemdiche made his Rebel debut and led all tacklers with eight tackles. Junior DB Dehendret Collins also made his debut and had seven tackles and a pass break-up.
• Junior DB Frank Crawford picked off the first pass of his career in the fourth quarter.
• Senior E.J. Epperson earned the start at defensive end after spending the first three years of his Rebel career on the offensive side of the ball.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• Freshman Nathan Noble made his Rebel debut as the kickoff specialist, and senior Jim Broadway made his Rebel debut as the punter. Both are non-scholarship members of the Ole Miss team.
