POSTGAME NOTES
TULANE GAME - 9/22/12

SERIES INFORMATION
• Today’s meeting was the 71st all-time between Ole Miss and Tulane. Ole Miss now leads the series 43-28 overall and 27-25 in New Orleans.
• Ole Miss has won 11 straight games against Tulane.
• The Rebels are now 130-52-2 against current members of Conference USA.

GENERAL NOTES
• Today’s attendance at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome was 28,913.
• Ole Miss has eclipsed last year’s win total with a 3-1 record. The Rebels were 1-3 after four games last year.
• Ole Miss has scored its most points through the first four games of the season (147) since 2003 (162).
• The Rebels now boast an all-time record of 624-487-35 (.560 winning percentage).
• Ole Miss won the coin toss for the third time this year (all resulted in wins for the team).
• The Rebels’ 26 points in the first quarter were the most points in a quarter since scoring 28 in the fourth quarter against Memphis in the 2009 season opener.

OFFENSIVE NOTES
• The Rebels eclipsed 300 rushing yards for the second time this year.
• Ole Miss completed a pass to 10 different receivers in the game.
• Sophomore WR Donte Moncrief caught a touchdown in the fourth straight game, the first Rebel to do so since Mike Wallace in 2008.
• Junior RB Jeff Scott had a pair of touchdown runs, his first multi-score game since finding the end zone twice against Fresno State last year.
• Junior WR Ja-Mes Logan scored a 14-yard touchdown on a reverse, which was his first career rushing attempt.
• Freshman WR Cody Core made his first career reception in the third quarter on a 4-yard pass from Barry Brunetti.

DEFENSIVE NOTES
• The Ole Miss defense pitched its first shutout since beating Mississippi State 45-0 in 2008.
• Ole Miss held the opponent to less than 50 rushing yards for the second time this season. The Green Wave gained only 14 yards on the ground.
• Redshirt-freshman LB Denzel Nkemdiche snagged his first career interception in the first quarter.
• Junior DB Dehendret Collins snagged his first career interception in the third quarter.
• Redshirt-freshman DB Chief Brown Collins snagged his first career interception in the fourth quarter.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• Senior K Bryson Rose connected on both of his field goal attempts, including a career-long 47-yarder in the fourth quarter.
