POSTGAME NOTES
VANDERBILT GAME - 11/10/12

SERIES INFORMATION
• Today’s meeting was the 87th meeting between Ole Miss and Vanderbilt dating back to 1894.
• The series now stands at 47-37-2 for the Rebels and 22-6 in Oxford. Vanderbilt has won five of the last six meetings, including three straight in Oxford.

GENERAL NOTES
• Tonight’s game was a sellout, with attendance at 60,572. It marks the second sellout of the season. Texas was the other sellout of the season.
• The Rebels now own an all-time record of 626-491-35 (.543 winning percentage).
• Ole Miss is now 5-1 this year when they hold a team to less than 30 points.
• The Rebels are now 4-2 when they score first.
• This marked the Rebels’ second game against an SEC East team this year after playing at Georgia last Saturday.
• Ole Miss won the coin toss for the seventh time this year. The Rebels are 5-2 when they win the coin toss.
• In honor of Veteran’s Day tomorrow, Gunnery Seargent Stephen Patrick Roberts did tonight’s Hotty Toddy before the game and was then honored in the 3rd quarter
as the military person of the game.
• The Rebels fall to 5-5 on the year and are still one win away from bowl eligibility.

OFFENSIVE NOTES
• The Rebels totaled 403 passing yards. Vanderbilt came into the game allowing opponents just 151.9 yards passing per game.
• Ole Miss was a perfect 5-of-5 in the red zone and has now scored in 33 of its 35 red zone trips this year (94.2 percent).
• The Rebels are a perfect 22-of-22 in red zone scoring against league teams (13 TDs, 10 FGs).
• With no turnovers in the game, the Rebels remained without a turnover in the red zone this year. They came into the game as the only SEC team without a turnover
inside the red zone this year.
Bo Wallace notched a career-high 403 passing yards. His previous high was 305 against Texas A&M (10/6/12).
• The last time Ole Miss had 400 yards passing came in 2003 against Texas Tech (409).
• The Rebels had four receivers with at least five receptions (Donte Moncrief 7, Ja-Mes Logan 7, Korvic Neat 5, Vince Sanders 5)
• Junior WR Ja-Mes Logan posted a career-high 160 receiving yards on eight receptions. It marked his first 100-yard career receiving game and the first 100-receiving
game for a Rebel since Donte Moncrief had 144 yards against Texas on Sept. 12.
Vince Sanders recorded his second touchdown reception of the season, a nine-yard pass from Bo Wallace.

DEFENSIVE NOTES
• The Rebels held Vanderbilt to 104 yards rushing, nearly 70 yards below their average of 172.9 yards per game.
Chief Brown notched his first career forced fumble in the first quarter, which led to the Rebels’ first touchdown.
Charles Sawyer recorded his third career fumble recovery. He has now had a fumble recovery in each of his three seasons.
• The Rebels tallied 13 TFLs on the night. They came into the game ranked third in the SEC and T-15th in the NCAA with 7.3 TFLs per game.
Cody Prewitt led the Rebels with seven tackles, including two TFLs.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• Senior K Bryson Rose finished the game with 14 points. He was 4 of 5 in FGs and made two PATs. He remained perfect on the season in PATs at 34-34.
