POSTGAME NOTES
MUSIC CITY BOWL VS. GEORGIA TECH - 12/30/13

SERIES INFORMATION
• This was the fourth meeting all-time between Ole Miss and Georgia Tech ... The series is now even at 2-2, with the Rebels winning each of the last two ... Ole Miss takes a 2-1 lead in bowl games against the Yellow Jackets.

GENERAL NOTES
• This was the Rebels’ 35th bowl appearance, which is tied for 19th all-time among Division I teams.
• This was the Rebels’ 23rd bowl victory, which ranks top 10 all-time among Division I teams.
• Ole Miss won its sixth straight bowl game, which currently leads all Division I teams ... National title game participants Auburn and Florida State each have won five straight ... The Rebels have now won 10 of their last 11 bowl games.
• This was Ole Miss’ second appearance in the Music City Bowl and first victory.
• Ole Miss finishes 2013 with an 8-5 record , its best since going 9-4 in 2009.
• Today’s attendance at LP Field was 52,125.
• The Rebels now own an all-time record of 636-497-35 (.560 winning percentage).

OFFENSIVE NOTES
• With 28 first downs, Ole Miss set a school single-season record with 317 first downs in 2013.
• Junior QB Bo Wallace eclipsed Eli Manning’s 2003 school record of 3,572 total offense yards in a season and finishes 2013 with 3,701.
• Wallace also bested Manning’s 2002 school record of 279 pass completions in a season with his 283rd Monday.
• Wallace completed 22 of 32 passes for 256 yards and his 40th career touchdown pass, while rushing for a career-high 86 yards on 13 carries with two more TDs.
• Junior WR Donte Moncrief caught six passes for 113 yards, his ninth career 100-yard outing, which ranks second in school history and his fifth this year, which ties the school single-season record.
• Moncrief caught his sixth touchdown of the season and 20th of his career.
• Moncrief now ranks third in school history with 2,371 career receiving yards and third with 20 career touchdown catches.

DEFENSIVE NOTES
• The Rebel D held the Yellow Jackets to 151 rushing yards, 160.7 yards lower than their season average of 311.7.
• The Ole Miss D scored a safety for the first time since the 2009 Cotton Bowl vs. Texas Tech.
• The defense registered 10 tackles for loss on the day.
• Junior LB Serderius Bryant and sophomore defensive tackle Issac Gross each recorded eight tackles.
• Sophomore DB Mike Hilton forced a fumble, his first force of the year and third of his career.
• Sophomore DB Trae Elston recovered Hilton’s forced fumble, his second recovery of the season and third of his career.
• Junior DB Senquez Golson had an interception, his second of the season and sixth of his career.

SPECIAL TEAMS NOTES
• Senior P Tyler Campbell punted five times for an average of 42.4 yards, including a booming 68-yarder that landed inside the 5-yard line.
• Senior WR Jordan Holder returned three punts for a career-high 14 yards.
