ATLANTA - Under the Lights: Ole Miss Football, a 30-minute all-access special spotlighting the program, debuts Sunday at 6 p.m. CT on SportSouth.

Under the Lights: Ole Miss Football takes Rebel fans into the heart of spring practice, allowing them to witness conversations between new head coach Hugh Freeze and his team in the huddle, the fervor on the sidelines and closed-door speeches in team meetings.

A wireless microphone worn by Freeze during team practices provides unique insight into his energy and enthusiasm for the game of football and the preparation involved in getting the team ready for the Ole Miss’ annual spring scrimmage, the BancorpSouth Grove Bowl.

The show also hears from former players such as Eli Manning and BenJarvus Green-Ellis on why Ole Miss and Oxford hold special places in their hearts.

With insight from Freeze, co-offensive coordinator Matt Luke and defensive coordinator Dave Wommack, Under the Lights: Ole Miss Football tells the story of how the staff was assembled and how the coaches used spring practice to implement their systems and reenergize the team.

Under the Lights: Ole Miss Football re-airs on the following dates on SportSouth:

  • May 20 at 9 p.m.
  • May 22 at 4 p.m.
  • May 27 at 6:30 p.m.
  • May 31 at 8 p.m.
