Greg Little Selected to Outland Trophy Watch List
July 24, 2018

DALLAS – Ole Miss offensive tackle Greg Little is one of 82 players on the initial watch list for the 2018 Outland Trophy presented by the National Foundation for Infectious Diseases, the Football Writers Association of America announced on Tuesday.

The Outland Trophy, named after John H. Outland, is awarded to the best interior lineman in college football.

Little, a junior from Allen, Texas, has appeared in every game at left tackle since arriving in Oxford two years ago. Little earned preseason All-America first team honors from the Sporting News and second team accolades from Lindy's, Athlon and Phil Steele.

Throughout the 2017 campaign, Little helped protect the Ole Miss quarterbacks that led the SEC and ranked 11th nationally in passing as a unit (328.4 ypg).

Ole Miss will open the 2018 season vs. Texas Tech in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff, in Houston, on Sept. 1. Kick is slated for 11 a.m. and will be televised on ESPN.
