OXFORD, Miss. – Two more preseason All-America teams came out this week, and once again the on-the-rise Ole Miss Rebels were well represented.

Senior safety Cody Prewitt (Bay Springs, Mississippi) was tabbed a first-team selection by Sports Illustrated and second team by USA Today. Sophomore linemen Laremy Tunsil (Lake City, Florida) and Robert Nkemdiche (Loganville, Georgia) were also picked to the second team by USA Today.

Prewitt, who led the SEC in interceptions last year, has previously been named a first team preseason All-American by Lindy’s, Phil Steele and CFB Matrix. He is on watch lists for the Walter Camp Award, Chuck Bednarik Award, Jim Thorpe Award and Bronko Nagurski Award.

Tunsil, the Rebels’ starting left tackle, has been tabbed a preseason All-American by the Sporting News and Athlon and is on the Outland Trophy watch list.

Nkemdiche, a starter at defensive tackle, has garnered preseason All-America nods from Athlon, College Sports Madness and Phil Steele. He is on watch lists for the Outland Trophy, Bronko Nagurski Trophy and Rotary Lombardi Award.

Football coaches and players will be signing autographs and visiting with fans Saturday at the annual "Meet The Rebels Day" Presented By Cannon Motors. Doors will open to Rebel Kids’ Club Members (with up to two parents or guardians) at 11:30 a.m., at the east entrance of the facility, by the Grill at 1810. The general public may enter at noon through the south entrance, which faces the Track & Field complex. All fans should park in the Coliseum lot.
