OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss will kick off its fall sports season with an introduction to some of its athletics teams, including football, soccer and volleyball, with the annual Meet The Rebels Day this Saturday.

The event will begin at noon at the Indoor Practice Facility on campus and features a full day of festivities for fans that will conclude with a football scrimmage at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

Fans will be able to purchase official Ole Miss football gear. Polos sizes up to 4XL will be available for $25, t-shirts from $10, game used jersey are $50 and game used helmets' are $250. Only cash, credit and debit cards will be accepted. The 2010 Ole Miss football media guide will also be available for $15.

The doors to the IPF will open at noon and fans can purchase a boxed lunch sponsored by Chick-fil-A for $10. There will also be a raffle for prizes ranging from a pair of football tickets for a game in the Rebel Club or South Zone to gift certificates to local businesses.

Members of the football coaching staff, including head coach Houston Nutt, will speak for 30 minutes beginning at 1:30 p.m. A two-hour autograph session featuring the football, soccer and volleyball teams will follow immediately in the Indoor Practice Facility. Also speaking will be Chancellor Dan Jones, Athletics Director Pete Boone and Danny White, the executive director of the UMAA Foundation.

The football team will take the field at 5:20 p.m. in preparation for the scrimmage that will end the day's activities.

Fans can catch an earlier glimpse of the soccer team as the Matt Mott era kicks off on Friday night when the Rebels host Middle Tennessee at 7 p.m. at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.
