Latest Fan Experience Survey Released
Sept. 2, 2016

OXFORD, Miss. - The best gameday experience in college football is only getting better, as the Ole Miss athletics department is announcing its 2015 fan survey and its improvement plan for the upcoming 2016 campaign.

"Over the past six years, these findings have provided invaluable data for identifying ways we can improve our gameday," said Michael Thompson, senior associate AD for marketing and communications. "One of our overarching goals is to deliver a bucket list experience to our fans, and the latest improvements, coupled with the exciting expansion of Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, ensure we maintain our status among the nation's premier college football venues."

In December 2015, an electronic survey was sent via email to Ole Miss football season ticket holders and generated 2,166 total responses. The data was segmented by three audiences: 1) fans that sit in general seating areas; 2) fans that sit in premium areas, such as suites or clubs; and 3) student fans that sit in the student section.

Notable takeaways from the survey include:
- Ole Miss ranked first in the SEC for fan satisfaction in all 10 concessions elements.
- Parking continued its two-year rise in satisfaction with a 21-point increase from 2014.
- Traffic, parking and directional signage scores all finished second in the conference.
- With the implementation of C Spire’s state-of-the-art Wi-Fi system, Ole Miss ranked top-three in the SEC in connectivity.

With the bowling of the north end zone, the construction of the south field club and the installation of real grass, a new Vaught-Hemingway Stadium makes its debut in 2016 with an increased capacity of 64,038. Other improvements include:
- New north videoboard that spans the length of the structure.
- Two new video displays in the south end zone.
- New sound system with 302 speakers.
- Expansion of stadium light system and upgrade to LED technology.
- C-Spire Wi-Fi now free to all fans.
