Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the exploits of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year. There are currently 19 former Rebels on NFL rosters, including two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, recent Super Bowl participants Brandon Bolden and Michael Oher, and 2016 first-round draft picks Robert Nkemdiche, Laquon Treadwell and Laremy Tunsil.

Twelve former Rebels made appearances in the first week of the 2016 season. Eli Manning threw three touchdowns and both Donte Moncrief and Mike Wallace scored for their respective teams.

Here’s a rundown of how each former Rebel performed in week one of the 2016 NFL Season:

#38 BRANDON BOLDEN | RB | New England Patriots
Rushed once for 4 yards and had a tackle and fumble recovery on special teams for New England’s first regular-season game vs. Arizona in a 23-21 win.

#64 FAHN COOPER | OL | San Francisco 49ers (PS)
A member of the 49ers’ practice squad.

#16 CODY CORE | WR | Cincinnati Bengals
The sixth-round pick did not see action for Cincinnati’s first regular-season game victory over the Jets. Remains third on the team’s receivers depth chart.

#27 SENQUEZ GOLSON | CB | Pittsburgh Steelers
Did not see action for Pittsburgh’s first regular-season game victory over Washington due to injury. Looking to return by November.

#74 WOODROW HAMILTON | DT | New England Patriots (PS)
A member of the Patriots’ practice squad.

#77 JOHN JERRY | OG | New York Giants
Beginning his second year with New York, he started at guard for the first-regular season game victory over Dallas (20-19).

#23 KENDRICK LEWIS | S | Baltimore Ravens
Made one tackle and helped Baltimore win their first regular-season game over the Bills (13-7).

#10 ELI MANNING | QB | New York Giants
Started at QB for New York, going 19 for 28 for 207 yards and three touchdowns to win the first regular-season game over Dallas (20-19).

#70 BOBBY MASSIE | OT | Chicago Bears
Started at right tackle for the Bears’ first regular-season game vs. Houston.

#10 DONTE MONCRIEF | WR | Indianapolis Colts
Hauled in six passes for 64 yards and a touchdown in a 35-39 loss to Detroit.

#90 ROBERT NKEMDICHE | DT | Arizona Cardinals
Saw action at DT for Arizona’s first regular-season game vs. New England.

#73 MICHAEL OHER | OT | Carolina Panthers
Started at LT for Carolina’s first regular-season game vs. Denver in a 20-21 loss.

#78 JERMEY PARNELL | OT | Jacksonville Jaguars
Started at right tackle for Jacksonville in the first regular-season game vs. Green Bay.

#33 JAMARCA SANFORD | S | New Orleans Saints
Did not contribute to New Orleans’ first regular-season loss to Oakland due to injury.

#78 BRADLEY SOWELL | OT | Seattle Seahawks
Signed with Seattle as a free agent in May. Started in his first game since 2013 for week one of the 2016 regular season. Contributed to the Seahawks’ victory over Miami (12-10).

#11 LAQUON TREADWELL | WR | Minnesota Vikings
Did not see playing time in Sunday’s game vs. Tennessee. He remains third on the team’s receivers depth chart.

#67 LAREMY TUNSIL | G | Miami Dolphins
Played in all 53 offensive snaps at left guard in Miami’s first regular-season loss to Seattle.

#12 MIKE WALLACE | WR | Baltimore Ravens
Started at WR for Baltimore, logging three receptions for 91 yards and a touchdown in a 13-7 victory over Buffalo.

#71 CHANNING WARD | DE | Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Did not see playing time in Tampa Bay’s first regular-season win over Atlanta (31-24). Remains second on the depth chart at defensive end.
