Play Suspended On Day One At Reunion Intercollegiate

MADISON, Miss.Junior Blake Morris and senior Tom Brown led Ole Miss on the first day of the Reunion Intercollegiate before play was suspended after 12 holes due to inclement weather.

Morris and Brown each carded an unofficial score of 1-over through 12 holes at the 7,416-yard Reunion Golf and Country Club, which ties them for 15th place. No scores are official until the end of the first round.

As a team, the Rebels are tied for eighth with Southeastern Louisiana and Central Arkansas after firing an unofficial score of 7-over par after 12 holes.

Freshman Noah West is tied for 27th place after posting a 2-over par score through 13 holes. Junior Joe Lewis is tied for 41st place, while sophomore Forrest Gamble is tied for 60th place.

The first round will resume tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. followed immediately by the second round.  The tournament has been shortened to 36 holes due to the weather.
