Morris Tees Off At NCAA Regional

Auburn, Ala. – Ole Miss junior Blake Morris turned in an up-and-down first round at the NCAA Regional Championships hosted by Auburn University Thursday.

Morris birdied the par-3 eighth hole and finished the front nine just 3-over par at the par-72 Auburn University Club, but carded a 6-over par back nine en route to an 81 in the opening round. He is currently tied for 63rd overall and is fourth among individuals. The top individual finisher will advance to the NCAA Championships, which will take place May 23-28 at the Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas.

The second round of the NCAA Auburn Regional continues off tomorrow, with Morris slated to tee off at 10 a.m. on the 10th hole.
