COLUMBIA, Mo. - Blake Morris carded a 1-over par 73 in the third and final round of the NCAA Regional Preview hosted by the University of Missouri to finish in a tie for 12th overall.

The junior fired an even-par 216 for the tournament, posting three birdies in the final round.

"Blake Morris had another good tournament in spite of one bad hole today," head coach Ernest Ross said. "I was proud of his composure after the bad hole. As a team, we had several players make big scores on No. 16, a par three with water short and right of the green. I call this poor mental game. We have to improve."

After starting the final round tied for fourth overall, freshman Ben Wolcott, who competed as an individual, finished the tournament tied for 15th, posting a three-round total of 2-over 218.

As a team, the Rebels finished in ninth, posting a two-day score of 25-over 889. Host Missouri won the tournament with a 12-under par 852.

Sophomore Connor Davis tied for 28th, firing a three-round total of 223, while fellow sophomore Forrest Gamble finished 10-over par and in a tie for 40th. Freshman Noah West notched a 47th-place finish, carding a three-round total of 228. Junior Joe Lewis posted a 6-over 78 in the third round and finish in a tie for 54th overall.

Ole Miss will be back in action Monday, Sept. 30 at the Graeme McDowell Invitational in Birmingham, Ala. Follow the Rebels all season long on Twitter at @OleMissMGolf and on Facebook at Facebook.com/OleMissMGolf.
