KAUAI, Hawaii - Juniors Blake Morris and Joe Lewis each fired a 3-under par 69 to lead the Ole Miss men's golf team in the second round of the Princeville Warrior Classic at the Makai Golf Club at Princeville Tuesday.

Morris is tied with sophomore Forrest Gamble and freshman Noah West for 25th, all carding two-day totals of 141.

Gamble and West each notched a 1-under 71 in round two, making three birdies apiece. Lewis, who is tied for 37th, finished the day with five birdies.

"We played better today, but we still missed a few opportunities," head coach Ernest Ross said. "Congratulations to our two junior leaders, Blake and Joe, with good rounds of 69. They made some good birdies and minimized bogies. A good round tomorrow will really help our team."

As a team, Ole Miss shot an 8-under 280 in round two, bringing the team two-round total to 10-under 566 and remained in ninth place. Cal State Fullerton currently leads with a two-day score of 30-under 546.

Freshman Ben Wolcott, who is tied for 67th, shot even par in round two, bringing his two-round total to 148.

The third and final round of the Princeton Warrior Classic will conclude tomorrow. The Rebels will tee off at 8:00 a.m. HST.
