OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC), is partnering with Purshoeing Joy to collect used shoes for children in Guatemala. SAAC members will be collecting shoes at Friday's (April 18) baseball game against LSU. Purshoeing Joy is a non-profit organization that collects shoes for children and adults in Guatemala.
Additionally, garbage cans for donations are set up at various Ole Miss athletics buildings. Shoes can be used, but are asked to be in good condition. Donations will be accepted through April 18.
