2017 Rebels' Choice Awards Celebrate Ole Miss Athletic Success

Seventh annual student-athlete award show honored athletic and academic accomplishments

Corbit Franks MS, ATC, CES currently serves as the athletic trainer for the women's soccer program with oversight duties for cheerleading.

Prior to his current role at Ole Miss, he served as an assistant athletic trainer for the track and field/cross country teams from 2011-2015 and was a volunteer intern with football as well as the track and field/cross country teams from 2010-2011.

Franks has a vast background in manual therapy including Active Release and Graston Technique. He also has experience with movement screening and training in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment through Functional Movement Systems as well as being a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.

He received his master of science in food and nutrition services from the University of Mississippi in May of 2013 and his bachelor of science in athletic training from Union University in May 2010.

A native of Millington, Tennessee, Franks is a board certified athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association/Board of Certification and has certifications in CPR/AED and first aid.

Franks married the former Caroline Beffa in the summer of 2012. They reside in Oxford and are the proud parents of Channing, as well as owners of a fun-loving Goldendoodle named Boomer.
