Ray Lysinger, MEd, ATC, CSCS, joined our staff as an Assistant Athletic Trainer in the summer of 2012. His primary sporting assignment is football.
Prior to joining our staff, Ray had the opportunity to work in the NFL as a year-long Intern Athletic Trainer with the New England Patriots during the 2011 season and as a training camp intern with the New Orleans Saints in 2008.
Lysinger also worked as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at the University of Missouri, where he was responsible for covering football and women's golf. Before attending grad school at the University of Missouri, Ray worked as an Intern Athletic Trainer at North Carolina A&T State University where he was solely responsible for men's women's track & field.
Lysinger graduated from Eastern Illinois University in 2008, with a B.S. in Physical Education/Athletic Training. In 2011, he earned his M.Ed. in Health Education & Promotion from the University of Missouri and obtained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist in 2011.
Lysinger is a board certified athletic trainer by the National Athletic Trainers' Association and has certification in CPR/AED.
