Garrett Rowland joined the Ole Miss Strength & Conditioning Staff in August, 2012 and is primarily responsible for supporting the men's golf program and spirit groups.
A native of Memphis, Tenn., Rowland has been working professionally with athletes since 2010. Previous experience includes assisting with the Missouri Southern State University Strength and Conditioning Program, serving as a volunteer for the University of Memphis Football Strength Program and as a student intern for the University of Mississippi Olympic Sports Strength Staff.
He has worked with a variety of sports at the highest levels of NCAA competition including football, baseball, softball, basketball, track and field/cross country, volleyball and golf.
Rowland earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi where he also Pole Vaulted for the Ole Miss Track and Field team. He is also a member of the University of Mississippi M-Club.
Rowland has earned credentials from the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) and USA Weightlifting.
He lives in Oxford and plans to compete locally in Olympic Weightlifting.
